We’ve got a great gig coming up at the Portland Arms on Friday 22nd June. With African music from Matoke, AfricaDabra and Foli Gnouma. Also singer-songwriter Ben Avison.
The annual walk will be on Sunday 20th May at Chilford Hall near Linton. Do try to make it if you can.
Come to Mill Road Winter Fair on Saturday (3rd December) and visit our stall. We’ll be outside Mickey Flynn’s. We’ll have various Christmas goodies to buy and we’ll also be campaigning on the “landgrabs” issue.

Our City Centre street collection for East Africa raised £369. Many thanks to all those who helped. The current crisis is severe and the money is certainly needed.
Over 12 million people in East Africa are facing desperate food shortages. Oxfam is part of the DEC appeal for East Africa and we’ll be having a street collection in the City Centre on Saturday 6th August.
We’re having a Campaigns stall at the Big Weekend on Parker’s Piece, Saturday 9th July, 11am to 4pm. This is the start of Oxfam’s “Grow” campaign (dealing with the world food & agriculture situation). Come and join us for a Fairtrade picnic and an informal discussion on these important issues. All welcome.
